Product Introduction

The FC-CO-1000 long-life carbon monoxide sensor operates on the principle of a micro fuel cell. When carbon monoxide gas is present in the environment, gas molecules rapidly reach the core detection unit within the sensor through natural diffusion and concentration polarization. An oxidation reaction occurs at the positive electrode, while oxygen in the environment undergoes a reduction reaction at the negative electrode, forming a closed-loop reaction. The resulting current is directly proportional to the concentration of carbon monoxide gas in the environment. By measuring the magnitude of the generated current, the carbon monoxide content in the environment can be accurately quantified. This sensor is a passive device that utilizes a solid electrolyte, offering outstanding advantages such as zero power consumption, low noise, high detection accuracy, long service life, anti-interference, anti-poisoning, and a wide temperature range.
