Product Introduction

The SHT4xA is a 4th generation, high-accuracy, functional safety compliant automotive-grade relative humidity and temperature sensor platform. It is designed to meet demanding automotive reliability requirements, including 85 °C/85 %RH accelerated life tests, and is available as an ASIL-A Safety Element out of Context (SEooC) developed according to ISO 26262. The sensors can be interfaced via I2C or pulse-width modulation. An integrated heater allows for advanced on-board diagnostics while the sensor element is designed for reliable operation in harsh conditions such as condensing environments. The four-pin dual-flat-no-leads package is suitable for surface mount technology (SMT) processing and can be ordered with a wettable flanks option.
