PROSENSE FC-CO-1000M Fuel Cell Carbon Monoxide Sensor
FC-CO-1000M long-life carbon monoxide sensor is based on the micro fuel cell principle for detection. When carbon monoxide gas is present in the environment, gas molecules rapidly reach the core detection unit inside the sensor through natural diffusion and concentration polarization. Oxidation reaction occurs at the positive electrode, while oxygen in the environment undergoes reduction reaction at the negative electrode, forming a closed-loop reaction. The generated current is directly proportional to the concentration of carbon monoxide gas in the environment. By detecting the magnitude of the generated current, the carbon monoxide gas content in the environment can be accurately quantified. This sensor is a passive device with solid electrolyte, featuring zero power consumption, low noise, high detection accuracy, long service life, anti-interference, anti-poisoning, and wide temperature range.
